Overview
Arc Design Agency started with a simple conversation over coffee. After years of taking on freelance projects individually, my business partner and I realized we shared the same goal: making high-quality design more accessible to small businesses. That conversation became the foundation for Arc.
From the beginning, we wanted to build more than a design studio. We wanted to create a long-term partner that could help businesses grow through thoughtful branding, websites, and marketing. Every decision, from our identity to our client experience, was centered on helping businesses connect with the people they serve.
Problem
Launching a new agency meant earning trust before we had an established reputation. We needed a brand and website that felt polished and approachable, showcased the quality of our work, and clearly explained what we offered without overwhelming visitors. The experience needed to quickly answer a simple question: Why should someone choose Arc?
Analysis and Planning
Before designing anything, we researched agencies across both local and national markets to better understand how they positioned themselves and what clients expected when searching for design services.
Those insights helped shape our mission, define our audience, and establish a visual identity that felt modern, approachable, and built to last. We developed our name, logo, typography, and color system before moving into website design, giving us a strong foundation for every future touchpoint.
The name Arc reflects several parts of our story. It draws inspiration from our experience working in the energy industry, represents the idea of launching businesses toward future growth, and even nods to our shared passion for basketball. Every part of the brand was intentionally created to tell that story.

Design Phase
With the brand established, I designed and developed a website that reflected both our creative approach and our technical capabilities. The focus was on clarity, allowing visitors to quickly understand who we are, what we do, and how to get started.
The website also became an opportunity to demonstrate front-end development alongside visual design. I built a custom grid background that subtly responds to cursor movement on desktop before transitioning into a smooth ambient animation on mobile devices. Glass-inspired interface elements, custom UI components, and restrained animations add depth without distracting from the content.
Throughout the experience, simplicity remained the priority. Every interaction was designed to support the content rather than compete with it.
Solution and Results
After several months of planning, branding, and development, Arc Design Agency officially launched in November 2025. We began working with clients shortly after launch, giving us the opportunity to apply the same user-centered approach to real businesses across a variety of industries.
Today, the website serves as both our portfolio and our primary source for new client relationships. It continues to evolve alongside the agency, with future enhancements planned to include dark mode, educational content, and an expanding collection of case studies that highlight both our design process and the measurable results we deliver.
Overall, this project was more than building a website. It was about creating a brand identity and digital experience that reflected who we are, the way we work, and the kind of partnerships we want to build with our clients.
